I remember there was a time when Canibus was the upcoming rapper that exchanged knockout blows with LL. So much promise and talent, but he never really peaked beyond that battle. Nevertheless, there’s no denying the guy has skills and he’s coming back with a new album For Whom The Beat Tolls and the first single “Poet Laureate Infinity” is 1,000 bars. WTF? But wait, it gets stranger. ‘Bus also told XXL he’s working on his next album Rip The Jacker II: Infinity and he plans on following that same formula for the entire album.

“I got this record I’m working on called Rip The Jacker II: Infinity,” he said. “This record is going to mimic the same format, but it’s going to be for an album. So you are going to get an infinite album. And I don’t know if that’s ever been done, but I’m gonna do it.”
